The York County Prothonotary’s Passport Office will resume routine service of Passports on Aug. 3, 2020, by appointment only. To make an appointment, call the Passport Office at 717‐-771‐4760. Expedite service is not available.
U.S. Passport Services halted passport acceptance in March in response to COVID‐19. It will be months until applicants receive their passport and accompanying documents, including previous passports, birth and naturalization certificates.
The Prothonotary’s Passport Office is located on the first floor of the York County Judicial Center at 45 N. George St., York, PA.
