The Dover Township Industrial & Commercial Development Committee, in partnership with Dover Area School District, York County Economic Alliance, & Toastmasters of York, is pleased to offer a FREE Soft Skills Employee Training workshop to business owners/employers, employees, job-seekers or anyone looking to sharpen their workforce skills in the Dover Area. This is part of our workforce development effort outlined in the Township/Borough 2020 Comprehensive Plan. The event will be held on October 9th, 2024, at the Dover Area High School (4500 Intermediate Avenue) from 6 pm – 9 pm. Toastmasters of York will be facilitating tabletop discussions to enhance your public speaking and active listening skills. Their education programs are designed to help you fine-tune your communication and leadership skills through regular practice. Pizza will be provided along with other refreshments as well as childcare for ages 5-13 if you cannot find alternative childcare arrangements.
