Currently the farm employs the 6th, 7th and 8th generations of the family. The operation consists of a dairy operation that milks 75 cows twice a day; farms several crops; and raises a small amount of produce. Each fall, the Smyser Farm invites families, especially those with children, to be entertained by visiting the Fall Festival. The Farm is opened all weekends in October. Attractions include: food, games, pumpkin patch, the irresistible corn box, straw maze, corn maze, hayrides and petting zoo. Visit and give the next generation of children the chance to come experience a farm first hand.
