In 2024 Dover Township started renovations of the Community Building located at 3700 Davidsburg Road. The Community Building was built in 1990 and has never undergone any major renovations. The exterior was completely washed, and the blocks were sealed. The metal was repainted, and the fire department garage doors were painted in a nice fire engine red. Inside, the bathrooms were completely gutted, with new paint, flooring, toilets, urinals, and sinks. New stalls were also installed to complete the bathrooms. The interior of the community room received new flooring, paint, ceiling tiles, and lighting. Dover Township also upgraded the sound system, adding new projectors, and screens. The Community Building room is used for various meetings, parties, weddings, and Township events. The total cost of all the renovations inside and outside the building was $140,000.00.
